Old Stereo combines the powerful and passionate vocals of Michael Jackson, 80’s melodies of Hall & Oates, R&B/soul vibes of Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye with some Jimi Hendrix guitar pyrotechnics.
The Old Stereo sound has also been described as a mix of the Dave Matthews Band and Steely Dan by Warren “Wiggy” Toll. The sound that results is undeniably Old Stereo. Their debut EP entitled Crossed the Line was recorded with Eric Eggleston at Johnny Hall Productions and released to critical acclaim in the Fall of 2012.Old Stereo’s second EP What It’s All About is scheduled for a summer 2015 release. An Old Stereo performance is an energetically and emotionally charged groove session that has coaxed even the most reserved audience members to get up and get their groove on. Come groove with us!
